“The mechanical apparatus opposes the stability of vision; to the anachronistic monumentality of the sculptural form, it opposes a disruptive chromatism and a new structuring of the surrounding space that becomes an integral part of it. The vulnerability of the life of the form-element feeds on a precarious staticity where the character of the structure is conceived as a segment of an infinite and continuously variable dimension. The rationality of the creative process is combined with an intuitive and sometimes playful impulse guided by a constant metaphysical interest.”
